As HKUST celebrates its 35th anniversary, Unicorn Day has grown into one of the largest signature events in Hong Kong's higher education sector, uniting facilities, startups, industry partners, and investors within the innovation and technology ecosystem. Last year's edition featured over 100 startup showcases and welcomed over 1,400 global participants from more than a dozen countries. The event serves as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration — highlighting HKUST's cutting-edge technological advancements while strengthening Hong Kong's role as an international innovation hub and empowering local entrepreneurs to scale their impact globally.
